Ashurst has served as president for the California State Beekeepers Association and is past president of the National Honey Packers & Dealers Association.

A third generation beekeeper, Clint, along with his wife Janice, owns Walker Apiaries in Rogers, Texas. The business manages 2,000 honey bee colonies for honey production and packaging, pollination services, bee production and queen bee breeding.

Walker is a Past President of the American Beekeeping Federation, a member of the Institutional Review Board at Scott and White Hospital.

Nancy Gamber Olcott is the President and CEO of Dutch Gold Honey, Inc. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With over 30 years of experience in the honey industry, Nancy is also a member of the National Honey Packers & Dealers Association, the American Beekeeping Federation and the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association. She also serves as Treasurer of the Gamber Foundation, an organization that financially supports local charities.

Reg Wilbanks

Wilbanks is a fourth generation beekeeper. He manages approximately 6,000 colonies of bees for queen and package bee breeding. In the past, Wilbanks was president of the Georgia Beekeepers and American Bee Breeders Associations and the American Beekeeping Federation. He was also chairman of the Georgia Farm Bureau Honeybee Commodity Committee and the Carl Hayden Honeybee Laboratory Liaison Research Advisory Committee. Wilbanks also served on the American Farm Bureau Research Committee on Fire Ants and Africanized Bees and the American Farm Bureau Honeybee Advisory Committee. In addition, past U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Richard Lyng, appointed Wilbanks to represent the US Beekeeping Industry on the USDA Varroa Mite Negotiated Rule Making Committee in 1987-1988.

Mark Mammen has been involved with the honey business for 32 years. He has been Executive Vice President of the Sioux Honey Association since 2005. He spent the previous 15 years as Vice President of Member Relations. He spent his first nine years of employment with the association in the packing/production area.

George Hansen

George Hansen became a beekeeper after a first career as a teacher in a bilingual education project. Since starting the Foothills Honey Company from scratch 30 years ago, George and his wife Susan now run 3,500 colonies in Oregon, Washington and California. Hansen is also a partner in a second beekeeping venture in Montana. George Hansen has served as president on several occasions in the Oregon State Beekeepers Association, currently is on the Board of Directors of the American Beekeeping Federation, and the Foundation for the Preservation of the Honeybee. Hansen is serving his third term as a director on the Colton School District, having been chairman and vice chairman.

Beekeeping is a family business for David Shenefield. His father, Don Shenefield, started Clover Blossom Honey about 45 years ago, and now David manages the operation. He manages 2200 colonies for honey and beeswax production, and also provides pollination services, as well as raising queens and making nucs. He currently serves on the Honey Bee Committee of the Indiana Farm Bureau, is the current director of the Indiana State Beekeepers Association, and was Chairperson for the Indiana Young Beekeeper Award.

Dale Bauer has been involved with the honey business for 50 years. He is a honey producer, managing 10,000 hives, and also supplies pollinating services as well as importing bulk honey. He is a past president of the Minnesota Beekeepers as well as a past board member and vice chairman of Sioux Honey Association. He and his wife Lois have three children who, along with their spouses, are all involved with the bee business.
