Our are a family owned apiary. Nearly 40 years ago, Brad, "The Dude" caught the "bee fever" and today the fever still burns strong and has been passed on to our son, Nick, our second generation beekeeper. We are pleased to announce that our Raw Wildflower honey was awarded a 2015 Good Food Award Medal in San Francisco on January 8th, 2015. We are proud to be among the other 12 American Honey producers to receive such prestigious recognition for our honey product. Our bees forage the area surrounding the Sheyenne River Valley in N.D. The shelter belts offer plum, basswood, also numerous wildflowers. The prairie offers clover, alfalfa, some sunflower & soybeans. Buckwheat honey is also available if you like a dark robust flavor. If your looking for light, amber colored honey that is mostly a clover mix, that is what we have available. Honey is available in listed containers but we can fill special needs. We offer the 'Beekeeper’s Wife' Body Butter, Spa quality healing skin care in 1 ounce tin. Boot Butter, excellent for waterproofing all leather goods in 12 ounce tin. Springtime nucs available with ample notification.
