Announcing the Cooking with My Honey Bear Contest Winners!

The random drawing of recipe contest entries has been conducted and we are pleased to announce that Laura M. of Woodstock, Georgia is our Grand Prize winner of the 9-piece Le Creuset® cookware set.
She submitted the following side dish recipe:
Honey Cream Corn
4 ears sweet corn
4 tbsp. cream
4 tbsp. water
4 tsp. honey
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
Cut or strip corn from the cob and place kernels in small saucepan with honey. Mix cream and water together and add half to pan. Simmer corn in cream mixture, stirring in 1 tbsp. of mixture at a time until desired consistency is reached. Add fresh ground pepper and salt to taste. Cook on low to medium heat on stovetop or over a campfire for 10-15 minutes. Pair with a savory vegetable or meat dish and warm biscuits and honey. Makes three, 1/2-cup servings.

Fruit and Honey Smoothie
1 frozen banana
3 frozen strawberries
1 1/2 cups skim milk
2 tbsp. honey
Blend in a blender for 1 minute. Makes 2 to 3 servings depending on how hungry you are.
