Fall in Love with Honey

This Fall, as the leaves are changing and the weather is cooling off, we would like to take a minute to remind ourselves of the things we are thankful for. The small things can often be overlooked, but this holiday season, we want to stop and give thanks for what we have.

There are so many great traditions that are centered around the Thanksgiving holiday, but the most important one for us is spending the holiday with loved ones. We are in the kitchen from the early hours of the morning, prepping, cooking and baking. We slave over a hot stove, to prepare an amazing feast to share with our friends and family.

This Thanksgiving, add a little extra love with honey. Honey is made in one of the most efficient facilities in the world, the beehive. The 60,000 or so bees in a beehive may collectively travel as much as 55,000 miles and visit more than two million flowers to gather enough honey nectar to make just one pound of honey! So when you are giving thanks, remember these little guys and all the hard work they do, to provide us with one of the most wonderful things on earth, honey.
