Country of Origin Labeling of Packed Honey – 2009 Revision

To follow requirements set forth in the 2008 Farm Bill, USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service published an interim final rule in the Federal Register on July 8, 2009. The Rule addresses country of origin labeling requirements for packed honey bearing any official USDA mark or statement. The rule becomes effective October 6, 2009.
