As an interested party, I submit the following material to the International Trade Commission to provide background information on the question of adulteration of honey as received from mainland China over the past few years. Honeydata Corporation was established in 1987 to provide analytical services to the honey industry, particularly, but not limited to, the detection of adulteration with cheaper sugar products. The analytical methods used are those developed at USDA by the writer and later refined to increase sensitivity.
