AOAC’s 1986 Harvey W. Wiley Award to go to Jonathan W. White for his work in the Development of Honey Methodology. Jonathan W. White, research leader with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Eastern Regional Research Center, Wyndmoor, PA, until his retirement in 1978 and presently a consultant, is the 1986 winner of the AOAC Harvey W. Wiley Award. The award was given for his extensive work in the development of unique honey methodology. Earl Coffin, 1986 AOAC President, will present the award to Dr. White on Monday evening, September 15, at the AOAC 100th Annual International
Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona.
