Tom Sanford invited me to speak to you on this subject. My first reaction was to beg off feeling that these matters should not be aired in a forum like this because of a tendency we sometimes see to
sensationalise remarks on these subjects out of context. He persuaded me that it is an area that needs to be discussed so that the subject can by put into perspective and considered rationally.
