A photometric method for determination of methyl anthranilate (MA) was adapted for honey. Twenty-one citrus honeys from 3 states and 5 crops averaged 2.87 ug/g (range 0.84- 4.37). For 12 non-citrus honeys, apparent MA content averaged 0.07 ug/g (range 0.00-0.28).
