Excerpt:

Bees are used extensively in the United States for polllnation of’ farm crops. It is well recognized that this practice produces increased yields, and of consequence more and more bee colonies will be needed. Thus honey will eventually become more of. a surplus product than it is presently. Research will give increased knowledge of its nutritional value and its effects in biological
processes. This should lead to greater consumption and better prices for honey.
