Can you believe that we are already to Christmas week? It feels like 2016 has just flown by! While it seems to have come up quickly, this really is a wonderful time of the year. The holidays are when we get to spend much-needed quality time with family and friends and celebrate all the good things the year has brought. For many we will be participating in holiday traditions that we have established throughout our lives, whether that be hosting a family bake day, watching a favorite holiday special, or competing in the annual ice carving event, traditions carry a lot of weight this time of year.

Speaking of tradition, we are in our sixth year of our 12 Drinks of Christmas campaign. Perhaps a highlight of the holiday season, we’ve been counting down our twelve favorite honey-inspired beverages for the holiday season on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Whether you choose to mix up a batch of cocktails or warm a pot of apple cider, these honey beverages are sure to make your season a little brighter. If you missed any of the recipes, we’ve got them below.

The first honey-inspired holiday drink is our Honey Hot Cocoa.

The second honey-inspired holiday drink is our Cranberry Delight.

The third honey-inspired holiday drink is our Honey Pot Cider.

The fourth honey-inspired holiday drink is our Bee-lini.

The fifth honey-inspired holiday drink is our Golden Celebration Cocktail.

The sixth honey-inspired holiday drink is our Salted Honey Macchiato.

Here at the National Honey Board, we wish you and your family a warm and festive holiday season and a happy new year!
