Established in 1968, American Honey has distributed honey for over 50 years. Built upon three generations of beekeepers, American Honey prides itself on being involved in the production, packaging and distribution of honey. It was 1918 when the first Ashurst ventured into beekeeping. Now over 100 years later, beekeeping is more than a profession - it’s a family tradition. The Ashurst families collectively have one of the largest honeybee outfits in the country; pollinating almonds, alfalfa, produce and various seed crops. These hives provide American Honey with a direct source of honey, guaranteeing a continual supply and superior product.
