Doughty Apiaries is a small family owned and operated honey farm in Temecula California’s wine country. John started keeping bees in 1974 building his apiary from the ground up assisted by his wife and son. We own several of our own apiary locations within 5 miles of our home farm location.
Our Orange Blossom, Black Button Sage (only produced when we get enough rain in southern California) and California Buckwheat(sometimes called Wildflower) honey is packaged as raw and liquid. It is available in 12 oz., 1.5 pound honey bears, 3 pound and 5 pound jugs. Our raw honey packed in 2.9 deli tubs is never filtered, strained or heated.Small amounts of Comb honey available in the summer.Beeswax is available in small to large quantities.
Please visit and taste our honey. Please call first but we are open for business most days 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bees are available for almond and local orchard pollination.I am sorry we do not give tours of the farm at this time.Sioux Honey Association member.
