Hummingbird Wholesale

Hummingbird Wholesale is a small, family owned business located in Eugene, Oregon. We are a bulk food and grocery wholesale distributor serving customers from to San Francisco. We choose our products carefully, considering the sustainability of farming practices, nutritional value, and special dietary needs. We buy local and directly from the farmers whenever possible.

Most of our honey is from Oregon, and is produced and extracted by small family businesses. Unfiltered and raw (not heated over 115˚F) our honey contains traces of Pollen and Propolis, and has absolutely no additives (many commercial packers add water to achieve the legal limit of 18% moisture).

We purchase from regional beekeepers rather than importing organic honey long distances. This enables us to work closely with our suppliers, and have confidence in their integrity. We seek out unique varieties, and aim to have about a dozen flavors to choose from.

All of our containers are returnable. By washing and reusing returns, we can be gentler on our environment by saving energy that would be used for recycling.

Like the Hummingbird, we seek to sip the nectar without harming the flower.
