Marsden’s Pure Honey LLC
McFarland Wisconsin 53558
Dale Marsden has been keeping bees and selling honey in southern Wisconsin for over 50 years and selling honey
at the Dane County Farmers’ Market for the last 35 of those years. Marsden’s Pure Honey has been served in homes around the world through purchases at this market. Just look for the bee-skep hat.
Wisconsin is noted for its great honeys and Dale is in a prime spot along the Yahara River south of Madison. Spring flows of dandelion and locust honey is followed by Russian olive, basswood (linden), and bergamot in the summer. Fall honeys of buckwheat, goldernrod, wild aster and other wildflowers fill the airwith their heavy fragrances. Hives in northern Wisconsin bring in big flows of knapweed and occaisionally purple loosestrife honey.
During the summer harvest season, Marsden’s honeys are carefully extracted in small batches to assure that the flavors of the individual flower sources are preserved and then kept
separate as they are strained and bottled in their natural beauty and full flavor of the original floral source.
