Honey Rose Blush

YIELD: Makes 1 serving

INGREDIENTS

1 oz. - lemon juice

2 oz. - honey rose water (recipe below)

3 oz. - club soda

rose petal or rose bud, for garnish

For Honey Rose Water:

1 1/2 cups - orange blossom honey

1 cup - rose water

hibiscus flower for color, optional

DIRECTIONS

Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously.

Strain into an iced glass and top with a splash of club soda.

Garnish and serve.

For Honey Rose Water:

Combine the orange blossom honey and rose water in a small pot. Heat until honey is dissolved. Steep with a dried hibiscus flower for 1 minute (or until desired color is reached). Bottle and refrigerate until needed.
