YIELD: Makes 8 servings of sauce
For Sweet and Spicy Mango Honey Sauce:
finely diced, or to taste
whole grain bread
cracked pepper turkey
arugula or romaine lettuce
Mango Honey Sauce
To make the sauce, add the water, honey, lemon juice, ginger, garlic powder, salt and pepper to a pot and cook, on medium-low heat, for a couple of minutes. Make sure you stir often.
Add the mango and jalapeno and continue cooking for about 5 - 7 more minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
Using a small food processor or stick blender, puree the sauce until it's mostly smooth. Pour into a jar and store in the refrigerator for about a week.
Assemble your sandwich and slather on the mango honey sauce.
