Ricotta-Strawberry Honey Spread

When kids come back from the school hungry, a slice of bread or crackers with this spread will give them the energy necessary to wait until dinner time.

Yield: Makes 4 – 6 servings


  • 2 – 3 tablespoons - honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 cup - ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon - lemon zest
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced


Stir together ricotta, honey, and zest.

Serve with the bread and fresh strawberries and a drizzle of honey.

*Spread can be refrigerated, in an airtight container, up to 1 week.
